Rocknel Fastener, Inc. was founded in 1989 as a 50/50 joint venture of an American and a Japanese company. In 1998, Meira, Inc. (formerly Nagoya Screw Manufacturing Company, Ltd.), bought the outstanding shares, making Rocknel its wholly owned subsidiary. With its head office in Nagoya, Japan, Meira, Inc. is a world class innovator in the development and production of automotive and aerospace fasteners. In addition to Rocknel, Meira, Inc. has plants in Japan and Thailand.

Major customers for Rocknel Fastener include all Honda of America automotive assembly plants, their Tier suppliers, and Detroit 3 Tier component manufacturers in the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.

Rocknel Fastener consists of a 2-Building Facility in Rockford, IL with over 860,000 ft² and employing115 associates. A sales office is conveniently located in Dublin, OH to better serve our customers.
